This is the life we have been given

Open ur heart to some loving

Ironically peaking, tough.

But for me and many listen to this.

My story, my journey

My game.

Here’s the start of my journey,

My new Year’s resolution.

This is a good time to think

All the bad and good just went through. I’m sitting at the waiting room now waiting for my before

At St. Michael Hospital MSClinic

Great time to reflect and plan.

Last year is been challenging, confirmation of my left eye permanently. I still survive with my right eye, writing motivational stories, poems and what not, maybe one day screenwriting.

Ambitious for a person in my situation.

But I LOVE CHALLENGES!

I discovered when at the hospital, many people enjoyed stories I told them, what I went through, ups and lows of my illness.

Many took me as an inspiration for them.

As a result of my stroke, I couldn’t walk. Leap of faith, now I know what s baby feels when learning to walk.

I enjoyed being lifted by an electric one from bed to my wheelchair.

I only weighted 50kg

I got graduated to a wheelchair. I learned how to move my body to sit on the wheelchair. First up by body from laying position. They noticed I could do more. During my outings I noticed a group of people sitting on benches with their lost looks, totally gone.

I’m 53.

Not ready to face this

I have a kid and a boy

Not possible!

The doctors started to see improvements on my physiotherapy

Next in the plan?

Stand up by myself

Stand up and walk

Embarrassing- a walker for adults

I got the hang of it

Like a kid, I attempted to run

I practiced constantly

Until one day – thank God

I started to walk

I still remember the happiness

And encouragement received from the staff of my wing when walked by the nurses station!

After 6 months got discharged from the hospital, left walking by myself.

Okay- what’s my resolution for New Years?

I discovered a new niche for me

WRITING

This helps my mental health in shape. I write stories and hopefully will write more.

Let me know.

You might see my writings everywhere.

I found inspiration on everything

I write about it

Hoping one of them to inspire someone

Or entertain them

That’s why I came back from my stroke?

Idk

You tell me

Check my stories

Happy writings!

Love and peace

To everyone!
